Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 1, 2026
TRON Clicker is a virtual clicker game. TRON Points have no monetary value, and the extension does not connect to cryptocurrency wallets or perform blockchain transactions.
Overview
This policy explains what information the TRON Clicker Chrome extension processes, why it is needed, and how it is handled. By using the extension, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we process
- Anonymous account data: a randomly generated player identifier and a server-signed credential. No email address, password, phone number, or real name is required.
- Game data: your chosen nickname, TP balance, lifetime TP earned, energy, upgrade levels, click sequence and rate-limit state, and game timestamps.
- Public leaderboard data: your nickname and lifetime TP score may be displayed to other players with your leaderboard rank.
- Operational data: our hosting providers may temporarily process standard network and request information, such as IP address, timestamps, and error logs, to deliver and protect the service.
Information we do not collect
TRON Clicker does not request or collect browsing history, page content, bookmarks, unrelated cookies, email credentials, payment information, cryptocurrency wallet details, contacts, precise location, health information, or advertising identifiers.
How information is used
Information is used only to create and restore the anonymous game account, save game progress, operate upgrades and energy regeneration, provide the leaderboard, prevent invalid or automated gameplay, diagnose service errors, and maintain security.
Local storage and permissions
The extension uses Chrome's local storage permission to keep the anonymous account credential and small game settings on your device. Its host access is limited to https://tronclick.vercel.app/*, the TRON Clicker API and maintenance site. The extension does not read or modify websites you visit.
Service providers and disclosure
The service is hosted on Vercel and stores game records in a managed Neon PostgreSQL database. These providers process data only as needed to host, secure, and operate the game. We do not sell personal information, use game data for targeted advertising, or transfer it to data brokers. We may disclose information if required by law or necessary to protect users and the service.
Data retention and deletion
The local anonymous credential remains in extension storage until you remove the extension or clear its data. Server-side game progress may be retained while the game service operates. Removing the extension clears the local credential but does not automatically identify and delete its server-side record. To request deletion, use the developer contact option on the official Chrome Web Store listing and include your anonymous player identifier if available.
Security
Requests use HTTPS. Game changes are validated by the server, credentials are signed, and database credentials are not included in the extension. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but reasonable technical safeguards are used.
Children
TRON Clicker is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the extension or its data practices change. The updated date at the top of this page will show when revisions take effect.
Contact
For privacy questions or deletion requests, use the developer contact information available on the official TRON Clicker listing in the Chrome Web Store.
